The Oregon Water Coalition will hold its annual meeting at the Hermiston Conference Center on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. Speakers include J.R. Cook of the Northeast Oregon Water Association. Craig Reeder of Hale Farms will talk about the Columbia River Water Development. Also speaking during the event is David Filippi of Stoel & Rives, LLC. Filippi will talk about water rights and related bills, federal legislative and rulemaking efforts and recent opinions and ongoing litigation regarding water in Oregon.
State Sen. Bill Hansell will also give a talk during the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce Business to Business Luncheon.
