The National Weather Service out of Pendleton has issued a wind advisory effective from 4 p.m. today through 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
The weather service is forecasting southeast winds up to 25-35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
The wind advisory is for the Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, the John Day Basin and the Grand Ronde Valley.
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
