Weather Service Issues Winter Storm Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning which will remain in effect until 4 p.m. on Friday.

The weather service is forecasting three to six inches of snow to fall in the Lower Columbia Basin today and Friday. Snow is expected to begin falling this morning and continuing in Morrow and Umatilla counties through Friday afternoon, with heavy snow falling at times.

Driving conditions are expected to be hazardous and may substantially reduce visibility at times. For more weather information, visit the National Weather Service website.
