Wildhorse Resort & Casino has named the two recipients of its sponsor exemptions for the upcoming Epson Tour. These players will have the opportunity to participate in the Epson Tour via the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic this August.
Among the select group of talented golfers chosen, Wildhorse is thrilled to extend these prestigious invitations to Megan Osland from British Columbia, Canada, and Victoria Gailey from Tigard, Oregon.
Megan Osland, a seasoned professional golfer, returns to the Epson Tour after an impressive run from 2015 to 2019. Her journey has been one of perseverance, marked by a courageous performance in 2021 when she won an NWGA event just a day after losing her beloved coach to cancer. Osland’s unwavering determination was further evident as she secured 1st place in the US Women’s Open Sectional Qualifier in Bradenton, Fla., during the 2019 season. In 2021, she continued to shine, claiming 2nd place in the U.S. Women’s Open Sectional Qualifier in Ormond Beach, Fla. Most recently, Osland showcased her prowess by triumphing in three tournaments on the highly competitive Cactus Tour. Her dedication to her craft and her aspirations to join the esteemed LPGA Tour makes her an exciting addition to the Epson Tour.
Joining Osland in the pursuit of golfing excellence is Victoria Gailey, a talented golfer from Tigard who will make her professional debut at the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic. While new to the professional tour circuit, Gailey’s passion for golf has been evident from an early age, culminating in an successful collegiate career at the University of Nevada-Reno from 2018 to 2023. As an amateur, she has achieved an incredible string of victories, including Champion titles at The Clash at Boulder Creek, Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic, Oregon Amateur, Oregon Public Links, Oregon Tour Championship, and Sacramento Valley Women’s Amateur. Gailey’s rise in the golfing world has been meteoric, and her inclusion in the Epson Tour exemplifies her potential to become a future star in the sport.
“We are delighted to announce Megan Osland and Victoria Gailey as the recipients of our sponsor exemptions for the Epson Tour,” said Wildhorse Resort & Casino CEO Gary George. “Both athletes exemplify the dedication, talent, and resilience that the sport of golf embodies. We are excited to provide them with this opportunity to compete at the highest level and showcase their skills on the Epson Tour.”
