The Wildhorse Resort & Casino commercial website was hacked on Sept. 19, but casino officials say that gaming data, player information nor proprietary information was compromised or in danger.
The Wildhorse Resort & Casino website and server are completely separated from resort networks, according to Director of Information Systems at Wildhorse Melodie Lente.
“We want to stress to our guests that their information is safe,” she said. “The commercial website host server is disconnected from Wildhorse Resort & Casino. No customer data, credit card date, employee data, gaming data, proprietary information or confidential information of any kind was lost, compromised or ever in danger.”
Wildhorse officials say the commercial website has been re-established and is in good working order.
