The InterMountain Education Service District will host a pair of workshops for parents of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
The workshops are a partnership between the IMESD and Family and Community Together (FACT). They will provide parents with the most up-to-date information and research on ADHD along with practical information and resources.
The first workshop will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Jan. 21 at the IMESD office, 2001 S.W. Nye Ave. The second workshop will be on Jan. 28 at the same time and place.
The first workshop will focus on characteristics, causes, outcomes and impacts of ADHD. The second workshop will highlight management and treatment of ADHD. Child care will be provided. Parents are expected to attend both workshops.
