Free blood pressure checks will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Hermiston Senior Center.
A Good Shepherd Medical Center health educator will be on hand to provide the blood pressure checks. One in three adults has high blood pressure which can lead to a stroke or heart attack. If detected early, high blood pressure can be successfully managed.
The free checks take place on the first and third Tuesday of every month at the senior center, 435 W. Orchard Ave. For more information, call 541-667-3507.
