Altrusa International of Hermiston will host a presentation by World War II veteran Jack Roth on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the Eastern Oregon Higher Education Center in Hermiston.
Roth, 97, was also a coxswain for the University of Washington rowing team in 1936 and trained with members of the 1936 Olympic team featured in the book The Boys in the Boat.
Roth will share his life experiences at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
