U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden will hold town halls next weekend in Oregon, including a stop in Pendleton.
The four town halls in Eastern Oregon and the Portland metropolitan area will increase to 827 the number of town halls he has held as part of his commitment to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties.
Wyden will hold a town hall meeting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 10 at the Nixya’awii Community School gym, 73315 July Grounds Lane, Pendleton.
The town halls in Umatilla and Multnomah counties will be his second so far this year in each of those counties.
“It’s clear from the incredible turnout at my 42 town halls so far in 2017 throughout Oregon that there’s unprecedented interest in issues such as climate change, healthcare and the Russia investigation,” Wyden said. “With such strong evidence that participatory democracy is alive and well in our state, I want Oregonians to have every possible opportunity to share their views with me.”
