The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a youth introductory archery class in May.
The class will cover archery safety, basic target shooting and 3D shooting, and bow hunting basics. All equipment will be supplied. The classes will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the month of May at the Hermiston Conference Center. The cost is $30 for Hermiston residents and $38 for non-residents.
The class is for children ages 8 and older and students ages 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult. The deadline to register is May 2. Class size is limited. For more information, call 541-667-5018.
