Young hunters can enter a drawing for a three-day hunt on the C2 Ranch, a 10,000-acre property near Eagle Point, courtesy of the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife.
Two lucky applicants will have an opportunity to harvest a southwest Oregon blacktailed deer.
Young hunters must apply by 11:59 p.m., Nov. 14. One parent or another adult may accompany the hunter.
To be eligible, youth need to either have a Rogue Unit youth deer tag (630T) or are eligible to participate through the Youth “First Time” program for a 600-series tag.
It is free to apply and free to hunt for those who win the opportunity (winner must possess current hunting license and tag). ODFW will directly contact draw winners and coordinate a hunting date. Hunting dates are Dec. 15 – Jan. 5, 2022.

The Access and Habitat Program funds projects that provide hunter access and/or improve wildlife habitat on private land in Oregon. The program is funded primarily by a $4 surcharge on hunting licenses, big game auction and raffle tag sales.
The C2 Cattle Company is a conservation minded cattle ranch working to preserve the land and natural resources including wild game while running a working cattle ranch. This youth hunt opportunity is also made possible by the Oregon Hunters Association Rogue Valley chapter.
