One Injured When Pick-Up Truck Crashes into Stanfield McDonald’s

One person was injured Friday, April 19, when a pick-up truck drove into the side of the McDonald’s restaurant at the Pilot Truck Stop in Stanfield.

Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 was dispatched at 9:38 a.m. to the motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle that had driven into the side of the McDonald’s restaurant within the Pilot. One patient inside of McDonald’s was transported to Good Shepherd Health Care System with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident caused significant damage to the building.
