1980 HHS Grad Named Distinguished Alumnus

Hermiston School District Superintendent Dr. Fred Maiocco announced Stuart B. Allen, a 1980 Hermiston High School graduate, as the 2015 Hermiston High School Distinguished Alumnus, during the high school’s Evening of Excellence celebration on Wednesday.

Allen founded Allen Trust Company and Allen Capital Management, in 2001. As president and chief executive office, he guides Allen Trust Company in providing comprehensive trust and investment management services for individuals, families, and charitable organizations. Under his direction, Allen Capital Management, an SEC-regulated Registered Investment Adviser, offers customized and comprehensive wealth management for individuals, trusts, and private foundations.

The Distinguished Alumnus award is intended to recognize former HHS graduates who went on to serve in critical roles within business, industry, academia, and government throughout the United States and the world and who will inspire current students to pursue excellence and achievement in their own endeavors.

Allen is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and an attorney with decades of experience in trust services and investment management. He earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Oregon, and his Juris Doctor was conferred from Texas Wesleyan University.
