Raymond “Ray” Trevino of Hermiston died on July 14, 2026 in Kennewick, Wash. at the age of 82.
He was born on April 15, 1944 in Glendale, Ariz.
Ray joined the United States Navy after high school and was stationed in Thailand, Georgia, Arizona, Midway Island, Oregon, and in Puerto Rico before retiring after 20 years. He had spent the last 48 years in Oregon. Thailand is where he met his wife, Nawarat, better known as Judy. He was a devoted husband to Judy and was her caregiver for over 20 years after she suffered multiple disabling health conditions. Ray worked as an electrician and was active in Amway.
Ray was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, where he was active in the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his sister, Bertha Arteaga (Jimmy), Arizona; brother, Larry Trevino (Joyce), South Carolina; daughter, Jan Rock (Rick), Hermiston; grandsons, Tyler (Tiana) and Logan (Chelsea); granddaughter, Chelsea (Stuart); three great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, mother and two brothers.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
