Bentley Virgil Lee Allen of Boardman passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026 in Portland in the loving arms of his parents at the age of 10 months, surrounded by his grandmothers, Amanda Brown and Geni Boyd, and his aunt, Kayla Perkins.
He was born on Sept. 9, 2025 in Portland to Zak Allen and HarleyAnn Inlow. He weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and measured 19 3/4 inches long.
Bentley is lovingly remembered by his parents; his two beloved big sisters, Genesis and Serenity Huling, whom he absolutely adored; his grandparents, Amanda and Dauvin Brown, Nicholas Inlow, Geni Boyd, and Nathan Allen; his great-grandparents, Christa and Bradley Profitt, Donna Ford, and Dave Alldridge; his uncles, Alex Allen, Nicholas Inlow Jr., Maisen Sanders, and Dustin Sanders Jr.; his favorite playmate and cousin, Brielle South; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
During his 10 months of life in Boardman, Bentley filled every day with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Though his time on earth was brief, he experienced more than many children his age. He enjoyed camping adventures with his family, lobster and steak dinners, visits to aquariums, playing disc golf alongside his father and uncles, and traveling across the United States to visit family in Missouri.
Bentley absolutely adored his big sisters, Genesis and Serenity. They brought endless joy to his days, and he loved every moment they spent playing with him. Surrounded by a family who loved and cared for him unconditionally, Bentley knew nothing but warmth, happiness, and affection.
Bentley had a remarkable way of brightening every room he entered. His contagious laughter, sparkling blue eyes, and irresistibly chubby cheeks captured the hearts of everyone who met him. He was always smiling, always laughing, and especially loved being tickled. Whether he was giggling as his sisters treated him like their real-life baby doll or simply sharing his joyful spirit with those around him, Bentley brought immeasurable happiness to his family.
Although his life was far too short, Bentley’s impact will last a lifetime. We are forever grateful that God blessed us with his beautiful, gentle soul. He will always be deeply loved, forever missed, and eternally remembered.
A celebration of Bentley’s life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
