HERMISTON, Ore.-Looking for some spooky fall fun? The Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC) will transform into ‘Land of Frights’ for two weekends in late October.

Land of Frights is a new Halloween event this year and will offer two weekends of family-friendly fun and haunted house thrills on October 23-24 and 30-31.

Each day of Land of Frights offers two levels of scares, ensuring visitors of all ages can have a haunted good time.

The family-friendly early session from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. is free, allowing families with younger children to explore the haunted house without jump scares.

During the later session from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., the haunted house will feature jump scares and other spooky surprises.

The later haunted house session is suggested for teens and adults and parent discretion is advised for children under 13.

Admission for the later session is $5 per person or $20 per family.

Younger children can also enjoy fright-free Halloween activities, such as coloring pages, temporary tattoos, cookie decorating, and a photo backdrop in an activity room that will be open during Land of Fright hours.

EOTEC is located at 1705 E. Airport Road in Hermiston.
