An open house for the downtown Umatilla sidewalk project will be from 3-6 p.m. today in the Umatilla City Council chambers at city hall.
There will be design boards that will show what the downtown area between the Umatilla River Bridge and Yerxa Avenue could look like with new sidewalks, curb extensions, landscaping, street furniture and pedestrian-style street lights.
The city’s consultants will be there to help answer questions from the public. For more information, call 541-922-3226.
