PASCO, Wash.-It will be a little easier for travelers in the Northwest to fly directly from Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) to some desired locations this year, thanks to the addition of two nonstop Alaska Airlines flights.

Direct flights from Pasco to Burbank, California started in October, and nonstop flights to Portland are scheduled to begin in June of this year.

“We love seeing Alaska Airlines add another nonstop route from Tri-Cities,” said Buck Taft, Tri-Cities Airport Director. “We look forward to the increased connectivity with Southern California and the entire Alaska network.”

When flights to Portland International Airport (PDX) begin in June, it will reconnect the Tri-Cities to one of the busiest air travel hubs in the Pacific Northwest for the first time in seven years, according to the airport.

“We’re the only global airline based on the West Coast, and we’re proud to offer the most flights and seats between California, Washington, and Oregon,” said Kirsten Armine, Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning at Alaska Airlines. “These new additions further expand our ability to take our guests between growing markets in California and the Pacific Northwest for leisure and business travel.”

Tickets are on sale now through Alaska Airlines.
