Alberto Ruiz Gomez of Hermiston passed away in Vale on July 8, 2025 at the age of 33.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1991 in Hermiston to Carlos and Cande Gomez Ruiz.
Alberto grew up in Boardman where he attended schools, graduating from Boardman High School in 2009. He worked for Lamb Weston for several years. He had been a truck driver for the past year.
Alberto loved hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and soccer. He married Loni Silvani in Meacham on Oct. 1, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Loni; children, Carly, Milo and Theodore; parents, Carlos and Cande Ruiz; four brothers, Juan, Erik, Gerardo and Noe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
