HERMISTON, Ore.- The Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation’s Scramble for Scholarships Golf Tournament is set for June 13 at Big River Golf Course in Umatilla.
Now in its 32nd year, all funds raised through the tournament that features a fun and competitive four-person scramble format, on-course contests, raffle prizes, and a post-tournament awards lunch, directly support the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund.
“This event is always a highlight of our year,” said Liz Marvin, Executive Director of the Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation. “Team slots are filling up quickly, and we’re thrilled by the strong community support. We encourage anyone who’s been thinking about signing up to register soon before we sell out!”
Registration for the Scramble for Scholarships is now open and can be done online or by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and individuals who want to support a great cause, while gaining visibility at a popular community event.
Participants in the Scramble for Scholarships will enjoy a delicious box lunch and dinner, exciting door and raffle prizes, and the opportunity to “Skip the Swing”—all in the spirit of friendly competition and a great cause.
