Annual TruCare Pregnancy Clinic Fundraiser to feature comedian

HERMISTON, Ore.-TruCare Pregnancy Clinic will host its annual fundraising event at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 at the Maxwell Event Center in Hermiston.

“TruCare is important to the community due to its holistic care platform and the ability to comprehensively address the needs of patients,” said Connie Ambrecht, Executive Director of TruCare.

The annual fundraiser will feature food, drinks and entertainment from comedian and author Mike Williams.

Williams serves as a missionary in the Dominican Republic, has authored several books and can be heard daily on Sirius XM’s “Laugh USA.”

According to TruCare, Williams will share his entertaining and inspiring adoption story during his keynote address, as well as his experiences and appreciation for TruCare Services.

Located at 1155 W. Linda Avenue Suite B in Hermiston, TruCare specializes in pregnancy confirmation and referral services for women, and is focused on support, information and hope.

TruCare’s free, confidential services include pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting classes, pregnancy consultations, adoption information, community assistance and referrals.

While TruCare does not offer or refer for abortion services, the pregnancy center does offer accurate information about abortion and abortion medication options.

“We serve patients holistically by addressing their emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs,” said Ambrecht.

The Maxwell Event Center is located at 145 N. 1st Place in Hermiston.
