The Boardman City Council recently adopt the 2019 Oregon Specialty Code due to changes to the scope of inspections.

Structures that were not occupied, such as cell towers and fences, were no longer included in the Oregon Specialty Code. The council chose to continue regulating non-occupied structures and the ordinance passed by the council outlines the structures the city would be regulating.

In other city business, the city appointed Karla Jimenez to a vacancy on the planning commission with a term ending Dec. 31, 2022.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Boardman City Council is on Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. at Boardman City Hall.
