It will be a battle of 2-0 teams heading into tonight’s gridiron battle between the Hermiston Bulldogs and the Springfield Millers at Kennison Field in Hermiston.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 28-7 home win over Kamiakin last Friday, while Springfield took care of Thurston, 30-14. Tonight’s game is a rematch from a year ago when the Millers outscored the Bulldogs 21-6 in the fourth quarter to coast to a 49-28 win. Hermiston was ranked fifth in the state at the time, while Springfield was ranked 7th. This year, Hermiston enters the game ranked eighth, while the Millers are ranked 39th.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
