The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce is in the Christmas spirit this season and is giving residents a chance to win $1,000 simply by shopping locally.
The chamber is challenging members of the community to do their holiday shopping at Hermiston businesses as part of its Ho-Ho-Holiday Blitz- Shop Local Giveaway.
According to the chamber’s Facebook page, “When you shop local, you create a positive cycle of giving back, cycle money back into the community, and support the entrepreneurial spirit of your friends, family, and fellow community members!”
Now through Dec. 18, shop at any chamber member business, save your receipt and share it with the chamber to be entered to win a $1,000 cash prize. The winner will be announced on Dec. 19.
