Hermiston residents may bring their Christmas trees to Butte Park through Jan. 31 to be chipped into ground cover for the city’s parks and playgrounds.
Real trees only – with string lights, ornaments, tinsel and other random objects removed – should be dropped off at the south parkinglot of Butte Park. For more information, call the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department at 541-667-5018.
