The city of Umatilla will be hosting Movie Night in the Park this Friday, Oct. 21 in Umatilla Marina Park, with Hocus Pocus showing.
The event opens at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at 7:15 p.m. It’s free for the entire family, and no registration is required. Tacos and other concessions will be served.
Bring chairs and blankets, and wear a Hocus Pocus-themed costume to compete in the most-creative-costume contest (with cash prizes) before the movie. There will be separate contests for adults and children under the age of 17.
To participate in the costume contest, check in with recreation staff by 6 p.m. – the contest will start at 6:15 p.m. For more information, call the Umatilla Parks and Recreation Department at 541-922-3226.
