HERMISTON, Ore.-Easter is April 20 and several family-friendly egg hunts and other events are planned around the region over the next two weekends.

Boardman

Community Easter Egg Hunt

  • Free event for kids up to age 12
  • 10 a.m. on April 19 at Marina Park

2nd Annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

  • Free egg hunt for kids ages 13-18
  • 8 p.m. on April 18 at Marina Park
Boardman parks and recreation

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt

  • Noon to 2 p.m. on April 19 at the Boardman Pool and Recreation Center
  • Registration is required and costs $5 per child
  • Event is for kids up to age 17. Participants will be grouped by age

Umatilla Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt

  • April 18 at 7 p.m. at Umatilla Marina Park
  • Free easter egg hunt
  • Children will be grouped by ages: 3 and under, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-15

Easter Egg Hunt

  • April 19 at 8:30 a.m. at the Heppner Fairgrounds
  • The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures and the egg hunt will start at 9 a.m.
  • Children will be grouped by ages: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10 plus

Pilot Rock

Pilot Rock Downtown Association Annual Easter Egg Hunt

  • April 19 at 9 a.m. at Pilot Rock Elementary and City Park
  • Children will be grouped by age: Babies-toddlers, 2-4, 5-7 and 8-years-old-sixth grade

Hermiston

  • Easter Carnival and Egg Dash
  • April 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Heros Sportsplex
  • Event will feature carnival games, egg dashes and a flashlight egg dash
  • Carnival games will be available until 7:30 and egg dashes start every 20 minutes beginning at 6 p.m.
  • The all-ages flashlight egg dash will start at 8 p.m.

Easter Story Time and Family Party

  • April 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Next Chapter Bookstore in Hermiston
  • Easter-themed story time
  • Easter egg hunt
  • Easter and Spring-themed crafts

Easter Bags and Baked Goods Pop-Up

  • April 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wildcat Baristas and Brew in Hermiston
  • Event will feature Easter bags from Sherry’s Hand Sewn Bags and treats from simple blessings bakery

Guardian Angel Homes Easter Egg Hunt

  • 11 a.m. on April 12 at 540 NW 12th Street
  • The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures
  • Lunch provided while supplies last

Pendleton

McKay Creek Assisted Living Easter Egg Hunt

  • April 12 at 10 a.m.
  • Free and open to the public

 

Exchange Club of Pendleton’s Easter Egg Hunt

  • April 13 at 9 a.m. at the Pendleton Little League Park
  • Kids will be assigned to different fields based on age

La Grande

La Grande Sunrise Rotary Easter Egg Hunt

  • April 19 at the Union County Fairgrounds
  • The Easter Bunny will be available starting at 9:45 and the egg hunt starts at 10 a.m.
  • Children will be grouped by age: 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10

Wildflowers Lodge Easter Egg Hunt

  • April 18 at 4 p.m. at Wildflower Lodge Senior Living
  • Friends, family and the public are invited
  • Easter Bunny will be on hand for egg hunt that starts at 4 p.m.

Easter High Tea Luncheon

  • April 19 at Le Bebe Cakes Bakery Coffee House
  • Peter Rabbit inspired teas are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Tickets for adults are $22 and children are $15
