The Umatilla County Fair Board announced the theme for 2015, along with this year’s grand marshal and its Volunteers of the Year during its appreciation dinner on Saturday.
“100 Years: What a Ride!” will be this year’s fair theme. Jim Voss will serve as the grand marshal. Volunteers of the Year are Linda Ware of Hermiston and Jim Lunders of Irrigon. The Manager’s Award was given to Jamie Loiland of Hermiston.
The 2015 Fair Court was officially introduced Saturday evening as well. This year’s court includes Sevana Patrick of Hermiston, Elizabeth Olsen of Pendleton, Catie Krumbah-Kuhar of Milton Freewater, and Kaleigh Waggoner of Pilot Rock. The chaperones this year are Alice Newman of Hermiston and Machelle Watts of Patterson, Wash.
