A report of shots fired in Hermiston this morning turned out to be a false alarm.
A report of shots fired on the 100 block of N.W. 11th Street resulted in police officers being called to the alleged scene of the shooting.
Hermiston Police Chief Jason Edmiston said no evidence of a shooting was found.
“We had a report of shots fired at A Quiet Living Mobile Home Park at 9:03 a.m., said Edmiston. “Officers responded, canvassed the area, checked video surveillance, spoke with people, and did not locate any evidence or corroborating statements to support the initial report.”
