Hermiston Kiwanis Breakfast Club and Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation will present the 20th Annual Festival of Trees on Dec. 5-6 at the Hermiston Conference Center.
Rogers Toyota of Hermiston is the major event sponsor of the Festival of Trees for 2015. The Festival Evening Event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. and Family Day is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 6 at 12 noon.
The Festival Evening Event, for ages 21 and older, is one of the most elegant and prestigious events in Hermiston each year, with proceeds going to worthwhile causes that benefit children and build a healthy community. It begins at 6 p.m. with wine-tasting, holiday music, and viewing of beautifully decorated trees prior to the auction. Dinner will commence at 7 p.m. followed immediately by the live auction of trees and wreaths. Silent auction of stockings and holiday items are also available for bidding. This event has been a sellout in past years so early reservations are recommended to participate in this very special evening.
Family Day, presented by the Soroptimist Club, begins at 12 noon on Sunday with family holiday activities, games, and entertainment to please the old and the young alike. This event concludes at 4 p.m.
Ticket prices for the Festival of Trees Evening Event are $35 per person or $250 to reserve a table for eight. Tickets may be purchased at Hermiston Chamber of Commerce and Good Shepherd Administrative offices. Family Day tickets can be purchased at the door for a suggested donation of $5 per family.
Festival of Trees is a Hermiston tradition of friendship, good dining, entertainment, live and silent auctions, and the opportunity to benefit the local community. For further information and ticket reservations please call 541-667-3405.
