UMATILLA COUNTY, Ore.-Fire crews are currently mopping up after a brush fire near Highway 207 in Umatilla County.
Umatilla County Fire District #1 (UCFD1) was dispatched to the brush fire, that also included a silage pile of corn on the 78000 block of Highway 207, shortly after 1 p.m.

Mutual aid was provided by Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District and Echo Fire.
The fire was out by about 4 p.m., according to UCFD1, however, large piles of silage are still burning and fire crews are working with the landowners to get the piles out.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
