HERMISTON, Ore.-Good Shepherd Health Care System’s (GSHCS) Family Health and Fitness Day is set for May 17 at the Eastern Oregon Trade and Events Center (EOTEC).
The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature performances and demonstrations, including car seat checks and a Teddy Bear Clinic, as well as helmet and life jacket fittings for children.
Free health screenings, including A1c/lipid testing will be available at the event that will also feature raffles, prizes, giveaways and community vendors, according to GSHCS. Food trucks will be onsite if families wish to purchase food.
A Life Flight Network helicopter will be on display throughout the day and families will have the opportunity to meet the crew.
Family Health and Fitness Day is completely free, and tickets are not required to attend.
