
HERMISTON, OR – Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) is pleased to welcome Board-Certified Ophthalmologist Adam Ahmadi, MD. Dr. Ahmadi is the Medical Director of Good Shepherd Ophthalmology, a new clinic offering comprehensive medical and surgical care for routine and complex eye diseases.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Ahmadi to Good Shepherd,” shared Art Mathisen, GSHCS President & CEO. “His expertise in ophthalmology is a much-needed specialty to bring to our region, ensuring our patients receive the high-quality care they deserve close to home.”
Dr. Ahmadi completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and a Surgical Glaucoma Fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Ahmadi is Board-Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He’s a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
