Grace Marie Belloni, former Echo resident, died on July 7, 2016 in Milton Freewater at the age of 100.

She was born on March 11, 1916 in Caribou, Maine to Roscoe and Annie Holmes McIntire. Grace worked as a nurses aid for many years. She married John Belloni and they lived in Echo. She moved to Hermiston after John preceded her in death in 2007 and then to Milton Freewater in 2009 where she has lived since. Grace was active in the VFW Auxiliary in Echo and the Echo Museum. She was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston.

She is survived her sons: Ken Murphy & his wife Nancy, Pendleton, OR, Richard Murphy & his wife Faye, Texas, and Ronald Murphy & his wife Roxie, Grand Junction, CO; step children: Mike Belloni, Echo, OR, Teresa Sjurset, Boise, ID, and Larry LaDue, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband John Belloni, her parents, and 13 siblings.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston.

Private burial will be held at St. Peters Parish Center Cemetery in The Dalles.
