Hermiston Council Extends City Manager’s Contract

The Hermiston City Council extended City Manager Byron Smith’s contract for an additional year and gave him a raise, as well.

On Monday, the council amended Smith’s contract by approving a $3,500 annual raise, as well as an additional week of vacation.

Smith took over the city manager’s job in August 2014, succeeding Ed Brookshier.
