The Hermiston Education Foundation is inviting everyone to participate in the 13th annual Fun Run & Walk 5K and 1 mile race happening on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Riverfront Park.
This year, the entry fee is a $5 equivalent in school supplies from the new common elementary school list – available online – or a minimum $5 donation. The school collecting the most supplies at the race will receive the Fleet of Feet award.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Hermiston Nazarene Church, 1520 W. Orchard Ave. The race begins at 9 a.m. For more information, call 541-667-6000.
