The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department will kick off its Music & Movies in the Park series on Friday, July 11 with a free concert at McKenzie Park.
The Golden Ponies Band, an alternative country band out of the Tri-Cities, will kick off the series on Friday, followed by Badlands on July 18 and the Jim Basnight Band on July 25.
The first free movie in the Park, The Lego Movie, will be shown at McKenzie Park on Aug. 1.
