The city of Hermiston will hold a dedication event for the Harkenrider Senior Center on Saturday, Sept. 8 on Festival Street (Northeast Second Street) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The dedication ceremony takes place at 1 p.m.
A pulled pork lunch will be served for $8.50 per ticket. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Hermiston Community Center, the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce, or at city hall. The event also features farm-fresh produce, vintage booths, entertainment, a free drawing and local treats.
