Jeanette Allardin Passes Away at 65

Jeanette Marie Allardin of Hermiston passed away in Hermiston on Oct. 26, 2022 at the age of 65.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1956 in Yakima, Wash., to Bobbie Stamey and Marjorie Wright Chandler.

Jeanette grew up in Grandview, Wash., where she attended school and graduated from high school. She married soon after high school and the couple had three children. She moved to Eastern Oregon in the early 1990s and resided in the Stanfield area, where she raised her three children. She later moved to the Hermiston area.

Jeanette worked for over 10 years for ConAgra Foods at their food ingredient plant in McNary until it closed. She then worked for Pacific Ethanol (Alto Columbia) at the Port of Boardman until retiring in August 2022.

Jeanette’s family was the center of her life and her grandkids were her world. She cherished her many adventures with her grandkids. She also enjoyed going camping.

She is survived by a daughter, April Tate; son, Curtis (Monica) Smith; daughter, Misty (Ryan) Tobeck; grandchildren, Tieler, Ashly, Wyatt, Cartyr, Bradyen, Aliyah and Noah; and two sisters, Karen and Roberta.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradly; and by both of her parents.
