Jesus “Jesse” Candelario Yzaguirre of Hermiston died on Jan. 27, 2026 in Pendleton as the result of an accident at the age of 44.
He was born on Jan. 30, 1981 in Hermiston to Bacilio “Rich” Yzaguirre and Charlotta Picker.
Jesse was raised and attended schools in Hermiston. He had worked detailing cars and as a line cook at area restaurants through the years. Jesse was involved in scouting for many years, which lead him to his love of camping and fishing.
He is survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, two step brothers and three step sisters.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents and both sets of grandparents.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
