Jose “JJ” Banda Jr. died on March 2, 2026 in Spokane, Wash. at the age of 44.
He was born on Aug. 24, 1981 in Umatilla to Jose Banda and Sylvia Briggs.
JJ was raised and attended schools in Hermiston. He enjoyed music, jokes, snacks, cars and fishing and was quite the ladies’ man.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
