Lori K. Hudson Lemke of Hermiston died on June 9, 2026 in McKinleyville, Calif. at the age of 66.
She was born on Oct. 5, 1959 in Michigan to Larry and Carol Hudson.
Lori was raised in Marlette, Mich. before her family moved to Hermiston in 1970, where she had lived since. She worked at Marlette Homes in many capacities for 48 years, retiring in April 2026. Lori married David Lemke on Nov. 27, 1998 in Hermiston. She enjoyed sewing, camping, playing pool, throwing darts and playing cards. Lori cherished family time and loved her grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by her husband, David Lemke, Hermiston; children, Nicky Childers (Chad), Umatilla, Kristopher Whitlock (Suellen), Hermiston, Scott Lemke (Jackie), McKinleyville, Calif. and Angie Lemke (Ken), Arcata, Calif.; brothers, Jim Hudson, Walla Walla, Wash. and Jeff Hudson (Brenda), Hermiston; sister, Darlene Newman (George), Hermiston; grandchildren, Ryley, Makayla, Peyton, Alexa, Liam, Cole, Calvin, Luke and Tylee; great-grandson, Emerson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her very special fur baby dachshunds.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 12 until 4 p.m. at the Pheasant Blue Collar Bar & Grill, Hermiston.
