Jose “Luis” Velasco of Hermiston died on Oct. 29, 2026 in Othello, Wash. at the age of 43.
He was born on Feb. 15, 1983 in Prosser, Wash. to Francisco De La Cruz Gutierrez and Juana Velasco.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026 from 1 until 7 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, with the rosary at 6 p.m.
Mass will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
