One person is dead after a fire destroyed a camp trailer at an RV park in Stanfield early this morning.
According to the Stanfield Police Department, multiple citizens called 911 around 3:15 a.m. to report a trailer fully engulfed in flames at the Stage Gulch RV Park, 120 E. Harding Ave. The Stanfield police responded and found a male inside. The fire appears to be accidental.
The name of the victim will be released later. Also responding to the fire were the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office and the Stanfield and Hermiston fire departments.
