Judge Daniel Hill sentenced Alfredo Lopez Rodriguez to nearly six years in prison stemming from a robbery in Stanfield in December.
Rodriguez, 24, was given 70 months in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree robbery and coercion.
The Stanfield Police Department, with assistance from the Hermiston Police Department, conducted an investigation that revealed that on Dec. 6, 2015, around 2 a.m., Rodriguez entered the Center Market in Stanfield, armed with a handgun and with his face covered by a bandana. Rodriguez demanded that the store clerk give him all the money in the cash register while pointing the firearm at the clerk. Rodriguez then held his gun to the clerk’s head, and forced the clerk outside, where Rodriguez then fled.
Rodriguez has no possibility for early release.
