MILTON-FREEWATER, Ore.-A shooting outside the Community Building on the night of July 26 is under investigation.
Milton-Freewater Police responded to reports of shots fired near the Community Building at 109 NE 5th around 10 p.m. Multiple groups of people were in the area when officers arrived, and shell casings were reportedly found in the area.
According to Milton-Freewater PD, the shooting is believed to have been the result of a fight that started inside the building before spilling into the street.
The shooting is now being investigated by Milton-Freewater PD Detectives. Anyone with any information is asked to call the department at 541-938-5511 and reference case #2025-3727
