HERMISTON, Ore.-Open Path Counseling, in collaboration with the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of its new Hermiston location on May 8.
“Thank you all for coming, we’re glad to be here and thrilled to be providing our services in Hermiston,” said Therapist Ann Robins, owner of Open Path, before officially cutting the ribbon of the building she moved her practice into in March.
Robins provides compassionate counseling at Open Path to guide clients through the challenges of life, helping them to heal and grow in a supportive environment.
That environment includes personalized care for clients, where Robins helps them understand their needs, conflicts, strengths and what steps are needed for meaningful change.
Open Path Counseling is a bit of a second career for Robins after she retired in 2002 from Central Homes in Woodburn, Oregon, where she was the top salesperson in the nation for Fleetwood multiple times.
“She decided to go back to school for this,” said Shanda Williams, Robins’ daughter. “Not only was it something for her to do, but it was also a way for her to help people.”
Robins practiced in Salem before moving to the Hermiston area to be closer to family. For Williams, who benefitted from her mother’s business coaching when she got into the real estate industry, helping people is just what her mother does.
“Whether it’s as a business coach, in life, counseling or therapy she helps people,” said Williams.
At her new location Robins will be able to help clients with in-person therapy, as well as telehealth sessions for those with busy schedules, or who feel more comfortable attending from home.
