The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a triathlon for kids ages 4-12 on Saturday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The non-competitive triathlon, sponsored by Tom Denchel Ford, is a swimming, bicycling and running event and no experience is necessary. The kids will be divided into groups based on their age.
The cost is $15 for city residents and $18 for nonresidents. The registration deadline is June 20.
