Pendleton Man Gets 200 Months for Sex Crimes

A Pendleton man was sentenced to more than 16 years in prison for his role in a sexual assault case.

Umatilla County Circuit Court Judge Christopher Brauer sentenced Shaun Allen Dick, 39, to 200 months in prison after he was found guilty of first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, first-degree attempted rape, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, coercion and menacing.

The victim was an adult, according to Umatilla County District Attorney Dan Primus.

Primus said Dick will be required to have no contact with the victim and must register as a sex offender. Primus said Dick will not be eligible for early release or any reductions in his sentence.
