Friday’s Pray for Casey fundraiser, held at the Hermiston Conference Center, raised more than $10,000, according to the event’s sponsor, Tom Denchel Ford.
In January, Allison lost his right leg below the knee and his left ring and pinky fingers in an explosion in Afghanistan. Allison was back in town for the event, but will return to San Diego where he is undergoing treatment for his injuries. After his rehab, he will return back to Hermiston with his wife and infant daughter.
